Market Basket Robber Arrested After Domestic Fight at Home

There's been an arrest in connection with the armed robbery of Market Basket last weekend.

A Rowley man is facing armed robbery charges in connection with a robbery last weekend at Market Basket where a gun was shown, reports the Boston Globe.

The robbery at the store in Endicott Plaza.

Roger Hedstrom, 57, of 238 Main St. Rowley, faces charges of of armed robbery, use of a firearm in a felony and three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, according to the Globe.

Atfter the robbery, Danvers police and State Police with a helicopter searched the area around the store for any suspects. Nobody was found.

Police in Rowley responded to his home on Sunday for a domestic disturbance and arrested him on various charges. But they recognized him from photos that were distributed after the Market Basket robbery showing the robber from that incident.

He is being held on $5,000 cash bail at Middleton jail.

After his arrest in Rowley, a Danvers officer went to the jail and identified him as the same person in the surveillance photos and police also showed a lineup to three employees who were working in the customer service booth at the time of the robbery and they all identified him, the Globe reported.

He made off with about $5,500.
