Paint Ball Gun Mistaken For Rifle On High Street

Tuesday, July 24

  • Police were dispatched to on report of a child alone inside a vehicle at 6:16 p.m. They were spoken to. 
  • Three pickup trucks were reportedly driving erratically on Endicott Street at 10:32 p.m. When police arrived they had left the scene. 
  • Police were dispatched to on report of a large group who had gathered for a fight at 11:38 p.m. Police dispersed the group. 

Wednesday, July 25

  • Police were dispatched to at 1:52 p.m. on report of a man sleeping in his car. The situation was unfounded. 
  • Police responded to Michael Drive where a home was reported damaged at 6:12 p.m. Reports stated the door to the house was kicked in. 
  • Police arrested Ann Heinonen, 40, of 12 Grove St. in Lynn, on charges of larceny over $250 at . 

Thursday, July 26

  • At 9:02 a.m. police were dispatched to High Street on report of a suspicious person, with what looked like a rifle in his bag. Police spoke to the individual and found out it was a paint ball gun. 
  • A converter was reported stolen from a vehicle at at 9:12 a.m.
  • A TV was reportedly illegally dumped on a Bishop Drive residence's property at 9:42 a.m.
  • Police arrested Dennis Stack, 39, of 55 Winthrop St. in Winthrop, on charges of shoplifting at , at 1:25 p.m.
