Police Investigate Rash of Home Burglaries in Danvers

According to reports, police are investigating several home break-ins around town.

Danvers police reportedly made an arrest Thursday afternoon in connection with an attempted home break-in as well as other break-ins around town.

As of 3 p.m., police said they did not have any details to publicly release yet on the incident.

According to scanner reports, at least one person was taken into custody shortly before 1 p.m. on Putnam Lane for an attempted break-in.

Scanner reports indicated an active investigation was underway and several homes on the street were also targeted as well as other houses on Briarwood Drive, Prince Street and possibly others.
