Police Log: Alleged Drunk Driver Arrested After Trying to Evade Police

Friday, May 2

At 5:57 p.m., a person reported a pocketbook was stolen at Market Basket.

At 6:53 p.m., a Kirkbride Drive resident called after a car was vandalized.

At 9:23 p.m., police arrested Ulrick Jeanfrancois, 35, 821 Commack Road, Brentwood, NY, and charged the person with shoplifting by asportation. Police made the arrest at Walmart.

Saturday, May 3

At 3:10 a.m., police arrested Joseph Balesteri, 18, 24 Lakeview Ave., Danvers, and charged him with distributing a Class D drug and possessing liquor while being a person under 21. Police made the arrest after a report of a suspicious vehicle on Abington Road.

At 1:17 p.m., police arrested Robert Johnson, 55, no address given, and charged him with assault with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Police made the arrest after a report of a man with a knife making threats on Andover Street.

At 7:17 p.m., police arrested David Lopez, 25, 59 Grover St., Lynn, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense). Police made the arrest on Andover Street.

 

Sunday, May 4

At 2:28 a.m., police arrested Anthony Martignetti, 24, 47 Swan Road, Winchester, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor, failing to stop for police, negligently operating a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation. Police made the arrest after a motorist didn’t stop for police at Route 128 and Folly Hill Drive.

At 2:43 p.m., police arrested Christine Hebert, 47, 18 Hampshire Road, Peabody, and charged her with shoplifting by asportation. Police made the arrest at Walmart.

At 6:22 p.m., police responded to the Liberty Tree Mall after a hit-and-run accident.

At 7:55 p.m., police arrested Joseph Turco, 19, 44 Oak St., Peabody, and charged him with shoplifting by asportation and Brandon Errabey, 20, 38 Sunset Road, Winthrop, and charged him with shoplifting by asportation and possessing a Class A drug. Police made the arrests at Walmart.

 

Monday, May 5

At 9:55 a.m., an employee at a Rainbow Terrace business reported that three cars were burglarized.

At 9:07 p.m., a Walmart employee reported a shoplifting.

 

Tuesday, May 6

At 6:44 a.m., police received a call after a car was vandalized on Poplar Street.
