Police Log: Diner Ditches Bill at Restaurant

Sunday, Feb. 9

At 11:08 p.m., an employee at Applebees reported a diner left the eatery without paying a $40 bill.

 

Monday, Feb. 10

At 11:14 a.m., police responded to a hit-and-run accident on Andover Street. There were no reported injuries.

Tuesday, Feb. 11

At 6:11 p.m., police received a report of a two-car hit-and-run accident on Andover Street. There were no reported injuries.

Wednesday, Feb. 12

At 8:01 a.m., a Newbury Street resident reported that a child refused to go to school.

At 12:45 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a State Police cruiser on Maple Street. Three people, including the state trooper, received minor injuries. They were treated at Beverly Hospital.

 

Thursday, Feb. 13

At 1:29 p.m., police received a report from Conant Street after a car’s rear window was “shot out.” Police took a report.

 

Friday, Feb. 14

At 8:36 a.m., police received a call about a dispute between drivers after a motor vehicle accident on Porter Street. Police helped the two drivers exchange papers.
