Police Log: Loud Wedding Party Leads to NY Man's Arrest

Saturday, July 12

At 9 a.m., police received a call after tools were stolen from a garage on Weeks Road. Police took a report.

At 5:25 p.m., police arrested Mellonie Trippett, 25, 15 High St., Amesbury, and charged her with shoplifting by asportation. Police made the arrest at Kohl’s.

At 6:11 p.m., A Briarwood Drive resident reported a break-in. Police took a report.

At 7:09 p.m., police responded to Motel 6 about stolen prescription medications.

At 9:02 p.m., a Best Buy employee reported a shoplifting. Police took a report.

Sunday, July 13

At 2:10 a.m., police arrested Brendan Smith, 27, 33 Beach Road, Ossining, NY, and charged him with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Police made the arrest after a report of a large loud wedding party at Doubletree Hotel.

At 9:18 a.m., a Folly Hill Drive resident reported someone flattened car tires.

At 12:35 p.m., police arrested Ronald Verrette, 43, 2A LeBlanc Drive, Danvers, and charged him with domestic assault and battery.

At 2:15 p.m., a Conifer Hill Drive resident reported a smashed car windshield.

At 3:03 pm., police arrested Rachel Albano, 19, 8 Perkins Road, Middleton, and charged her with larceny more than $250. Police made the arrest after a shoplifting call at Kohl’s.

 

Monday, July 14

At 12:46 a.m., a Kirdbride Drive resident reported someone threw a rock through a window.

 

Tuesday, July 15

At 7 a.m., police responded to Reservoir Drive after a car window was smashed.

At 8:28 a.m., a Kenmore Drive resident reported a screen on a house was damaged.

At 9:37 a.m., a Paulette Drive resident reported a car window was smashed.

At 10:24 a.m., a car struck a child on Sherwood Avenue. The child suffered minor injuries. The driver was cited.
