Police Log: Police Make Four Arrests

The following information was provided by the Danvers Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Feb. 25

At 5:15 p.m., police responded to Locust Street after a hit-and-run accident. A driver backed into another car. Police took a report.

At 7:11 p.m., police responded to Market Basket after a wallet was reportedly stolen. Police took a report.

Wednesday, Feb. 26

At 9:52 a.m., police confiscated a syringe that was found in a Holten Street driveway.

At 3:41 p.m., police responded to the Liberty Tree Mall and took a report about possible fraud taking place at a video game machine.

At 8:29 p.m., police responded to a road rage incident on Maple Street.

At 9:19 p.m., police arrested Marie Hasty, 49, 149 High St., Danvers, and charged her with disorderly conduct. Police made the arrest after responding to Buffalo Wild Wings about two unwanted guests.

 

Thursday, Feb. 27

At 2:12 a.m., police arrested Rufus Louf, 25, 6 Lawrence St., Salem, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop at Forest and Maple streets.

At 7:25 a.m., police received a call from Highland Meadows about a possible scam or swindle.

At 3:38 p.m., an employee at North Shore Bank reported a fraudulent check. Police took a report.

At 5:28 p.m., a person reported finding a cell phone at Essex Agricultural School.

At 5:42 p.m., a person reported finding a wallet at a Newbury Street business.

At 6:28 p.m., police arrested Adam Yeary, 29, 16 Beacon St., Falmouth, and charged him with domestic assault and battery.

At 8:34 p.m., police received a call about a car break-in on Maple Street. Police took a report.

At 10:02 p.m., a Bay View Terrace resident reported that a car was egged.

At 11:08 p.m., police received a call from AMC Theatre about a man who was sleeping.

 

Friday, Feb. 28

At 12:13 a.m., police arrested Kara Barowski, 25, 31-2 Park St., Salem, and charged her on a warrant. Police made the arrest on Endicott Street during a motor vehicle stop.
