Police Log: Police Make Multiple Shoplifting Arrests

The following information was provided by the Danvers Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Feb. 14

At 6:26 p.m., police arrested Gabriella Wood, 19, 18 Addison St., Gloucester, on a warrant. Police made the arrest after responding to Wet Seal at the Liberty Tree Mall concerning a reported shoplifter.

At 9:06 p.m., police notified the Department of Public Works about a pot hole on Collins Street.

Saturday, Feb. 15

At 4:25 a.m., police arrested Timothy Corbett, 32, 46 Princeton St., Danvers, and charged him with domestic assault and battery, intimidation of a witness and disturbing the peace.

At 11:02 a.m., police arrested David King, 44, 35 Upham St., Salem, and charged him on a warrant. Police made the arrest at Motel 6.

At 7:08 p.m., police arrested Destaknee Johnson, 20, 152 Endicott St., Danvers, and charged her with larceny more than $250 and receiving stolen property, Jean Magnuson, 23, 152 Endicott St., Danvers, and charged her with shoplifting by asportation, and Alison Petrie, 27, 152 Endicott St., Danvers, and charged her with shoplifting. Police made the arrest after a shoplifting report at Kohl’s in the Liberty Tree Mall.

At 9:32 p.m., police arrested Oscar Guzman-Merida, 29, 13 Myrtle St., Apt. 3, Lynn, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Police made the arrest on Endicott Street.

 

Sunday, Feb. 16

At 11:01 a.m., police placed a 55-year-old intoxicated woman into protective custody after a report of an unwanted guest at Knights Inn.

At 10:13 p.m., a Cherry Street resident reported someone threw eggs at a home.

At 11:01 p.m., police responded to Motel 6 after someone stole a PlayStation. Police took a report.

 

Monday, Feb. 17

At 10:20 a.m., police arrested Adriana Rocha, 36, 28 Warren St., Peabody, and charged her with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, failing to obey traffic control signals and failing to wear a seatbelt. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Endicott Street.

At 12:01 pm., police arrested David Garofino, 59, 213 Pine St., Danvers, and charged him with shoplifting by asportation. Police made the arrest at Target after the man allegedly tried to steal candles.
