Police Log: Repeat Drunk Driver Charged For Third Time

Friday, May 23

At 5:11 p.m., police arrested Chantal Scimemi, 22, 33 Buxton Lane, Peabody, and charged her with shoplifting by asportation. Police made the arrest at Ocean State Job Lot.

At 6:57 p.m., police arrested William Hart, 28, 94 Birch St., Lynn, and charged him with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Police made the arrest after a report of an unruly patron at AMC Theatres. Police later charged Hart with malicious or wanton damage or defacement and disorderly conduct after he damaged the police station.

At 10:59 p.m., police received a call after a car was egged on Ash Street.

Saturday, May 24

At 8:46 p.m., a Walmart employee reported a shoplifter. Police took a report.

 

Sunday, May 25

At 1:37 a.m., police arrested Benjamin Quirk, 30, 171 Pine St., Danvers, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor. Police made the arrest after a motor vehicle accident on Bridge Street. There were no reported injuries.

At 11:45 a.m., police arrested Luis Lopez, 25, 50 Allen Ave., Lynn, and charge him with operating a motor vehicle without a license. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Andover Street.

At 6:40 pm., a Walmart employee reported a shoplifting. Police took a report.

At 10:04 p.m., police arrested Gary Caldwell, 63, 8 Jones Ave., Woburn, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor (third offense), speeding, a lights violation and not wearing a seat belt. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Elliott Street.
