Police Make 5 Arrests on Warrants and Shoplifters

The following information was provided by the Danvers Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following excerpts are from reports in the Danvers Police Department press log from Aug. 22-23.

Thursday, Aug. 22

  • 7:56 p.m. Robert McIntosh, 43, of Charlestown, was arrested in Boston on a warrant and transported to Danvers for booking.
  • 9:52 p.m. Police responded to a report of an assault at 5233 Kirkbride Dr. See related story.
  • 10:24 p.m. A caller reported a car was hit with a paintball on Holten Street.
  • 11:35 p.m. Wayne Thibault, 52, of Gloucester, was arrested on a warrant at a High Street apartment.

Friday, Aug. 23

  • 2:51 a.m. Police conducted a follow-up investigation on a previous incident at a High Street residence and reported making an arrest. No further information was available.
  • 3:19 a.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident involving personal injuries on Dayton Street.
  • 8:21 a.m. Report of a catalytic converter cut off a vehicle at the Sunoco gas station on Route 114.
  • 11 a.m. Douglas Bitopoulos, 29, of Winthrop, and Brian Dalton, 34, of Boston, were both arrested on one count each of shoplifting.
  • 11:55 a.m. Report of a theft from a motor vehicle on Seneca Drive.
