Police Say Man Urinated on Friend's Porch After Fleeing Scene of Crash

A 51-year-old Lynn man is facing a handful of charges after he reportedly rear-ended another car on New Year's Day and fled the scene, running to a friend's house.

A Danvers man opened his front door on New Year's Day to find a friend urinating on his front porch.

Domenic Difabio, 51, of Lynn, was arrested by police on Jan. 1 after causing a rear-end collision on Maple Street shortly before 1:30 p.m.

He was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, driving with a suspended license and indecent exposure. Difabio was arraigned on those charges in Salem District Court last Thursday.

The Salem News reports Difabio fled the scene of the crash and ran to a friend's home nearby. When the friend opened the door, he saw Difabio urinating on the porch and refused to let him inside. Police finally overtook Difabio in the woods.

The Salem News reports Difabio is due back in court Jan. 27 for a pretrial hearing and is also in trouble for violating his probation in unrelated case.
