Police Searching Route 114 Area For Missing 88-Year-Old

Police from Danvers and Peabody are searching the Route 114 shopping district for an 88-year-old man who wandered off from Trader Joe's on Friday morning.

Danvers police are searching the Route 114 area on Friday morning for a man with dementia missing from a Peabody grocery store.

Danvers police said on its Facebook and Twitter page that the man is 88-years-old. He is described as 5 foor-7 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with white hair and glasses. He was last seen wearing a purple jacket and black pants.

He went missing at about 10 a.m.

He was with his wife, who was shopping at Trader Joe’s, just over the Danvers town line in Peabody on Route 114, when has wandered off.

Police are checking along the road and area businesses.
