Saugus Woman Charged With OUI After Endicott Street Crash

The following are excerpts from the Danvers Police Department press log from Nov. 7-9.

Thursday, Nov. 7

  • 5:54 p.m. Report of a hit-and-run accident on Elliott Street. Police issued a court summons. No further details were available.
  • 5:54 p.m. A caller reported an assault at a Putnam Lane home. The caller said a 19-year-old male was out-of-control.
  • 7:03 p.m. Report of a stolen wallet at the Danversport Yacht Club.
  • 8:11 p.m. Brendan Graham, 37, of 57 Adams St., Danvers, was arrested, following a report of an intoxicated male at the Liberty Tree Mall. He was charged with disorderly conduct.
  • 8:40 p.m. Report of power outages in the area of Holten and Pond streets due to a blown transformer. See related story.

Friday, Nov. 8

  • 7:17 a.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident with possible injuries at the corner of Burley Avenue and Maple Street.
  • 11:56 a.m. Report of a stolen purse at Stop & Shop.
  • 3:46 p.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Police said the crash occurred in Middleton and a patient was transported to the hospital.
  • 5:44 p.m. A caller reported the McDonald's on High Street was egged.
  • 9:04 p.m. Brenda Ross, 50, of Saugus, was arrested, following a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Endicott Street and Independence Way. Police said injuries were reported and Ross was charged with driving under the influence alcohol and failure to use care in starting, stopping, turning or backing her vehicle.

Saturday, Nov. 9

  • 8:05 a.m. Glenna Maher, 26, of 195 Maple St., Danvers, was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop at the corner of Beaver Park and Maple Street.
  • 9:10 a.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries on I-95 North. State police handled the scene.
  • 10:53 a.m. A resident at Endicott Green on Route 1 reported credit card fraud.
  • 11:15 a.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries at the corner of Adams and Sylvan streets.
  • 11:24 a.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Route 114.
  • 3:25 p.m. Report of credit card fraud at Target.
  • 4:26 p.m. Report of malicious damage to a motor vehicle at Target.
  • 5:49 p.m. Danvers officers assisted state police with a search for a prisoner in the area of the state police barracks.
  • 9:24 p.m. Report of a car break-in at the Liberty Tree Mall.
  • 10:12 p.m. Report of a car break-in at the mall.
