Stolen Jewelry, Shoplifters and Car Break-ins

The following are excerpts from the Danvers Police Department press log from Nov. 5-7.

Tuesday, Nov. 5

• 6:22 p.m. Report of a motor vehicle hit-and-run accident on Route 62 near Route 1.
• 8:43 p.m. An officer reported assisting another agency at the Danversport Yacht Club with a situation involving a revoked License to Carry.

Wednesday, Nov. 6

• 11:30 a.m. Report of a larceny at the Hathorne Hill rehabilitation center.
• 12:33 p.m. Report of someone disturbing the peace at the Avalon apartments on Kirkbride Drive. A caller said three men were kicking a door.
• 2:23 p.m. An Oberlin Road resident reported a case of identity theft.
• 2:54 p.m. Report of a shoplifting at Walmart.
• 2:55 p.m. Report of a theft from a business on Belgian Road. Jewelry was missing.
• 3:57 p.m. Report of a stolen wallet at St. Mary of the Annunciation School.
• 6:09 p.m. Maryanne Loughlin, 54, of 13 Mildred Rd., Danvers, was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop on Conant Street. She was charged with driving with a suspended license.
• 10:10 p.m. Report of a theft by an employee at the McDonald's on Route 114. An officer was then asked to keep the peace while that worker was fired.

Thursday, Nov. 7

• 5:17 a.m. Report of an intoxicated younger male in the area of the Cherry Street Fish Market on Hobart Street. Police didn't find the person.
• 6:44 a.m. A caller on Saratoga Lane said there was noise disturbing the peace. It was a street sweeper.
• 7:12 a.m. Report of a car break-in on Kenmore Drive. Credit cards were taken.
• 8:08 a.m. Police said a motor vehicle that was reported stolen from Thrifty Car Rental on Route 1 was recovered.
• 9:15 a.m. Report of malicious damage to a motor vehicle on Kenmore Drive. A moon roof was broken.
• 10:15 a.m. A caller at Lahey Outpatient Center at Danvers reported there was a suspicious person there approaching women.
• 1:08 p.m. Report of a road rage incident on Bridge Street.
• 2:10 p.m. Danvers Electric was dispatched for a report of a wire sparking near Walnut Grove Cemetery on Sylvan Street.
• 2:53 p.m. Report of a car accident on Hyde Street with injuries.
• 4:39 p.m. Report of a two-car accident with injuries on Maple Street.
