A red Sport Utility Vehicle crashed into the side of a home on Holten Street Wednesday morning.

Danvers firefighters, EMS and police responded to the scene at the corner of Holten and Washington streets around 6:50 a.m.

According to scanner reports, the SUV was driven by a female who initially left the scene, but was then located nearby at her home on Dyer Court. She reportedly went to get her husband.

No injuries were reported and no one was trapped inside the vehicle. The front of the vehicle was partway into the home before it was towed away.

Building and electrical inspectors were called to the scene to survey the damage.

Police Sgt. Olivia Silva later confirmed there were no injuries, there was only minor damage to the house and no charges were filed.

Silva said the driver told officers she hit a patch of ice and slid off the road.
