Tractor Trailer Flips in Peabody Causing Detour, Road Closure
A tractor-trailer flipped over, blocking several lanes, along Route 1 South near Route 128 and I-95.
Emergency crews are working to clear a wrecked tractor-trailer from Route 1 South near the jughandle in Peabody. The vehicle flipped on its side and traffic is being directed away from the scene.
Route 1 North traffic is starting to move, but southbound vehicles are at a standstill. Massachusetts State Police recommend drivers avoid the area.
The southbound off ramp from I-95 to Route 1 is closed and no traffic is being allowed to get on Route 1 southbound from Route 114 in Danvers.
