Vehicle Reported Egged and Peanut-Buttered on Tuesday Morning

The following information was supplied by the Danvers police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following are excerpts from the Log, Monday, Sept. 12 through Wednesday, Sept. 14.

Monday, Sept. 12:

  • At 6:43 a.m. a 26-year-old Danvers man was arrested on a warrant at .
  • A chain saw was reported stolen from at 1:31 p.m.
  • At 2:31 p.m. at 149 Endicott St. reported the weekend deposits were missing.
  • At 2:52 p.m. police were told a party at the left without paying a bill.
  • At 5:27 p.m. someone called police to report there was a dog in the parking lot of and all of the car windows were up. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.
  • At 8:25 police arrested a 65-year-old Newburyport woman after she was reportedly caught shoplifting. [Editor's Note: The charges were later dropped in court.]
  • At 10:54 p.m. there was a report of a vehicle break-in at the parking lot.

Tuesday September 13

  • At 10:47 p.m. police were made aware of a vehicle that had been egged and peanut-buttered at 15 Beaver Park.
  • At 2:46 p.m.  gardening tools were reported stolen from 4 Pickering Ct.
  • A wallet was reported stolen from 39 Cabot Rd. at 4:59 p.m.
  • Laura Dedonato, 48, of 2 Rogers Ave., in Lynn, was arrested for larceny of over $250 at at 6:19 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 14:

  • At 10:25 a.m. there was a report of a breaking and entering attempt at 85 Andover St.
