Wanted Couple That Had Been Allegedly Spotted in Danvers Arrested in Florida

Roland Dow and Jessica Linscott were on the run for nearly two weeks and had allegedly been seen around the North Shore.

The New Hampshire couple wanted in connection with a horrific child abuse case has been captured, according to MyFoxBoston.com.

The couple had been allegedly spotted in Danvers three times in recent days, according to Danvers Police. In all three instances, the couple had either fled before police arrived and their identity could not be confirmed or it was misatken idnetity, accordingto Danvers Police Captain Patrick Ambrose.

Roland Dow, 27, and Jessica Linscott, 23, were arrested in Florida, the news station reported.

The pair were on the run from police for nearly two weeks. Several alleged sightings of them were made around the North Shore. A massive manhunt came to Beverly over the weekend as authorities investigated what turned out to be a case of mistaken identity. The two had also reportedly been seen in Swampscott.

Dow was charged with first-degree assault for allegedly burning and battering Linscott's 3-year-old son earlier this month. Linscott was charged with child endangerment.

Police said they discovered the boy's injuries after he was treated at Exeter Hospital in New Hampshire on Nov. 14. He is still recovering from his injuries.
