Annual Town Election on Tuesday

There are town-wide races for Board of Selectmen and School Committee.

Danvers voters will decide on two town-wide races during the Annual Town Election on Tuesday, May 6.

Selectwoman Diane M. Langlais who was appointed to the board after the resignation of Michael Powers last year is running against Scott Herwig of Water Street.

There is a three-way race for School Committee with incumbent Eric R. Crane on the ballot along with Jeffrey T. Kay and former School Committee member John W. “Jack” Billings. Voters can vote for as many as two for School Committee this year.

Voters should remember that there is only one polling place this year. Voters should go to Danvers High School’s Vye gym to cast their votes. The town merged the voting locations into one location as a way to save money.
