Danvers Eases Water Restrictions

The water restriction is now at Level 4.

Here's some news that will please lawns.

Danvers has eased its outdoor water use restrictions to Level 4. Residents are now able to water with sprinklers and/or irrigation systems on Tuesday and Saturday only from 7 to 10 p.m.

Hand watering is allowed anytime. Car washing is also allowed.

Danvers had been at a Level 5 restriction, which was considered "drought conditions." The Level 5 restriction didn't allow for any sprinklers or irrigation system use.

If you have any questions on the water restrictions, please call the Department of Public Works at 978-777-0001 x3011.
