Danvers Town Election Results

Diane Langlais won the Board of Selectmen after being appointed to the board a year ago.

Diane Langlais, who was appointed to the Board of Selectmen after the resignation of Michael Powers last year, was elected to the board on Tuesday.

Langlais easily beat challenger Scott Herwig, 1,091-269.

The only other town-wide race was for School Committee. Incumbent Eric Crane topped the ticket with 833 votes, followed by Jeffrey Kay who received 818 votes and former School Committee member Jack Billings got 620 votes. With two seats up for grabs, this means Kay will join Crane on the School Committee.
