Danvers Town Election Tuesday

Exercise your right. The election is coming up.

Voters in Danvers head to the polls on Tuesday, May 6, for the annual town election. 

Three candidates battle for two seats on the school committee: Eric Crane, Jeffrey Kay and John W. Billings. Patricia Fraizer runs uncontested for moderator. Scott William Herwig and Diane Langlais compete for one three-year spot on the Board of Selectmen. Three run for three spots on the Library Trustees: Irene Conte, Charles Desmond and Wilbur Cobb. Carla King is on the ballot for a five-year Housing Authority Term. And six town members are running for six seats as town meeting members. 

There are 18,899 registered voters in Danvers. 

Voting for the May 6 election is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Vye Gym, Danvers High School, 60 Cabot Road.
