Drop Off Your Textiles at the Transfer Station

The Danvers Public Works Department says there's now a bin over at the town transfer station to drop off your old footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and even stuffed animals.

The collection bin is thanks Bay State Textiles, which recycles the goods. Residents can drop off items on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

"Any clothing -- ripped, stained, single socks or shoes, etc. -- is accepted for reuse/recycling. Just make sure that it's unsoiled and dry," says the DPW.
