Kindergarten Registration Opens in Late January

Several registration sessions have been scheduled in coming weeks to register your child for kindergarten.

Kindergarten registration will take place at the library during the final week of January.

There are five registration sessions during the week of Jan. 28–Feb. 1 at the Peabody Institute Library in the Gordon Room.

Full-day kindergarten continues to be offered across Danvers. On Wednesday, April 10, at 6:30 p.m., school officials will conduct an orientation meeting for parents at the Danvers High School auditorium. At that time, teachers and administration will present parents with specific information about the academic and social curriculum of the kindergarten year!

The registration packet may be obtained online on the school's website. Parents must return the completed packet to the library personally during the school registration. A school nurse and secretary will be available to assist parents during registration.

If parents are unable to attend the registration, they may call any of the town's elementary schools to obtain paperwork. Registration does not guarantee placement at a particular school.
