The past three weeks have seen one snowstorm after another barrel up the east coast and dump more snow onto the area.

Plowing snow is often a thankless job. There is rarely praise, but there are few things that raise a person’s ire more than snow-covered streets days after a snowstorm has passed.

With us now deep into February and after three weeks of snowstorms, we want to know: How would you rate Danvers’ snow removal this winter?

We asked a similar question at the beginning of January after a major storm and actually heard some positive comments. How has the town done this winter? What have been your experiences?

Let us know in the comments section below. Give your praise, voice your concern and let the town know what you think about snow plowing this winter.

The plowing in Danvers where I live was very good. The only question I have is where is the solution to the problem of HUGE mountains of snow at the bottom of driveways. I come home to an unscalable mountain of snow that the plows leave and have to go mountain climbing to get into my house. I have to leave my car in the street in order to clean it up to pull into my driveway. There may not be an answer. I don't blame the plow guys, but it certainly would be nice not to have to do this. This is dangerous, I know, but I have to get my driveway clear enough to pull in. I know everyone has this problem. Any ideas?

Best plowing around, many towns in the area could take a few lessons from the Danvers Highway Dept. Even the side streets are black, Kudo to the Highway Dept & Contractors! Thank you, guys!

Worst I have seen in decades.

No issues at all. Nice job all winter, from my perspective, doing this highly repetitive, thankless work. Yes, they all get paid, but one only has to look at the various dysfunctional state agencies to understand that simply getting paid does not guarantee that good work gets performed.
