What You Need To Know For Tonight's Board of Selectmen Meeting

Not sure what to expect at tonight's ? Here is what you need to know before the meeting, which starts at 7 p.m. at  

  • Two liquor license revocation hearings will take place tonight. According to Town Manager Wayne Marquis, Margaritas Restaurant, at 182 Endicott St., which never opened and has been dormant for a few years and Miyako Steak House on 10 Newbury St. will present to Selectmen. A decision will be made for each restaurant whether the licenses should be suspended, revoked or limited in any way. 
  • The board will be receiving two applications for Common Victualler's Licenses for a gelato cafe, as well as a restaurant. 
  • Due to scheduling issues, the bids for the have been postponed to July. The recently approved project will cost roughly $21 million. 
  • The Selectmen will be holding a special meeting to discuss the approval of the on Thursday June 30, at 5:30 p.m. The next Selectmen's meeting after that will take place on August 2, at 7 p.m.
