June Homes Sales in Danvers Drop from Last Year
Home sales dipped in Danvers while the median sale price went up by over 20 percent.
The Warren Group recently released their June home sales numbers for the towns and counties in Massachusetts and Danvers saw a drop in two different respects.
Danvers home sales in June of this year compared to home sales of June 2012 and year-to-date home sales are both lower than last year.
Last month, Danvers saw 21 homes sold, which is a 16 percent drop from the home sales in June of 2012, which was 25.
Since the beginning of 2013, 89 homes have been sold in Danvers, which is a 6.32 percent drop compared to the first six months in 2012, in which 95 homes were sold.
The median sale price for June of 2013 was up 24.62 percent from the median price in June of last year, going from $325,000 to $405,000.
