Auction Brings in Dough for Thorpe School

The Thorpe School Parent Advisory Council brought in more than $7,200 in their recent auction to benefit student programs at the school.

Parents at Thorpe Elementary recently raised more than $7,200 with a live and silent auction to benefit various student programs at the school. Parent Advisory Council committee member Dani Baldassare says the funds will be used for student activities, cultural enrichment programs, classroom projects and any special celebrations along with other educational endeavors.

The theme for the evening was on Boston sports and included food and music provided by DJ Kevin Wood, It’s All About the Music. The auction and raffle items included sports tickets, themed gift baskets, spa gift certificates, dinner gift certificates and professional services.
