High School Sophomore to Perform Sold Out Show at 'Middle East'

A Clark School sophomore has a sold out show at the Middle East next month.

Gina Marsh, a sophomore at Clark School in Danvers, will be performing her second-sold out concert at the 550-capacity Middle East in Cambridge next month.

The show is on Feb. 17, when she will open for Fox’s X-Factor finalist David Correy.

Marsh, who lives in Topsfield, began writing and recording original music when she was 11-years-old. She is best known for her original songs, "As I Am," "Just Forget It," and "Fly Away," according to an announcement about the Middle East show. In addition to writing the music and lyrics, Marsh also sings and plays guitar on her recordings. She is currently in the studio working on her first EP.

The Middle East show will include her latest original songs and popular covers songs.

“The Middle East is recognized as one of the best live music venues in the Boston area,” Marsh said in an announcement about the concert. “I am happy to be invited back and thrilled to be performing with such an amazing talent like David Correy.”

The all-ages concert is organized by the Keynote Company and will also feature New England artists Kristina Corbett, Justin Dearborn, B-Capp, Kik-It, Lynda-Rose, Karina and Bassline.

In addition to her YouTube channel and website, Marsh also sells her music on iTunes. She donates all proceeds from "As I Am" to Samaritans of Boston to support suicide prevention.

Doors open at 7 p.m. for the Feb. 17 Middle East show and a small number of tickets remain for sale for $15 each by contacting Diane Marsh at dlmarsh@comcast.net.
