Early Release Day on Wednesday for Danvers Public Schools

Staff development will take place on Wednesday.

Submitted by the Danvers Public Schools:

On Wednesday, June 4, all students K-12 attending school in Danvers will be dismissed at the following times: 

DISMISSAL TIMES

High School: 12:45 p.m.

Middle SchoolNO TRANSPORTATION

Elementary School: 1:15 p.m.

The Danvers Public Schools staff will participate in the following:

High School: Implementing student learning goals and professional practice goals in course groups. 

Middle School: Portfolio conference day. All students in grades 6-8 are expected to present their work to a parent/guardian during a one-hour appointed time. Conferences will be held in lieu of regular classes.

Elementary: End of year recap and preview of June professional development.

Elementary specialists, nurses, social workers, and psychologists: Analyzing and reflecting on student learning and professional practice goals.

There will be afternoon pre-school on that day and the release time is 2:10 p.m.

Parents should note that lunches will be served to students before dismissal from school.
