“Missing Mila, Finding Family: An International Adoption in the Shadow of the Salvadoran Civil War”

DR. MARGARET WARD Professor Emerita, at Wellesley College, and author of the recently published “Missing Mila, Finding Family: An International Adoption in the Shadow of the Salvadoran Civil War,” offers the profoundly personal and moving chronicle of how she and her husband adopted a young boy from an orphanage in Honduras, and the repercussions on their family after they birth a son, make a family with the two boys, and hear, suddenly, 14 years later, from the adopted boy’s birth family.

“Missing Mila” is already in its second printing and is available from Amazon.com and Smashwords.com.

Dr. Ward's appearance at Calvary is part of the church's new “Let’s Talk” speakers' forum which examines different aspects of conscience, ethics and spirituality. The event is free and open to the public. Dr. Ward will be available to sign books immediately after the lecture. Light
refreshments will be served.
