High School Thespians Coming to Danvers This Weekend

Danvers High School and St. John's Prep are locations for The Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild's High School Festival Preliminaries.

Looking for some theater, but don’t want to leave town?

You’re in luck.

The Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild is holding its High School Festival Preliminaries on Saturday, March 1 – and there are two locations in Danvers.

The schedule of performances on Saturday includes Danvers High School, which will perform The Crucible at Danvers High, and St. John’s Prep, which will perform bobrauschenbergamerica at St. John’s Prep.

The festival includes 115 one-act plays at locations throughout the state. Judges recognize acting and technical design at all three levels – preliminary, semifinal and state.
