The schedule of performances on Saturday includes Danvers High School, which will perform The Crucible at Danvers High, and St. John’s Prep, which will perform bobrauschenbergamerica at St. John’s Prep.

The festival includes 115 one-act plays at locations throughout the state. Judges recognize acting and technical design at all three levels – preliminary, semifinal and state. Two schools will be chosen at the State Festival later this month to represent Massachusetts in the New England Drama Festival, which takes place in Vermont in April.
