Michael Newhall, chief advancement officer at , said the school was approached because their athletic facilities matched what the film was looking for. He said the scenes filmed at St. John's Prep will depict a state championship type game played in the stadium.

For the last four weeks the school has worked out the logistics with "Crooked Arrows." The Prep has reached out to students, faculty, staff, and alumni for involvement and participation in the event. "We've got about a hundred people with Prep connections so far that have responded," Newhall said.
