Six DHS Students Receive Colleen Ritzer Scholarships

Six Danvers High School students have received the first Colleen Ritzer Scholarships.

Catherine Lamoly, Samantha Walters, Mary Leahy, Andrea Lang, Lily Cuzner and Sarah Mountain have received scholarships ranging from $1,500 to $2,500. A total of $12,000 was given out to the students.

The scholarships were available to students in Danvers and Andover, which was Ritzer’s hometown. There have been a number of fundraisers this year for the Ritzer scholarship.

Ritzer, a DHS math teacher, was murdered last fall allegedly by student Philip Chism.
