BASEBALL: No. 1 St. John's Prep Completes the Season Sweep

Pitcher allowed only one hit in game against St. John's Shrewsbury.

St. John’s Prep baseball Dan Letarte summed up pitcher Justin Snyder’s performance in a couple of words: Justin’s back.

The senior left-hander was certainly that, spinning a one-hitter, as the No. 1-ranked Eagles needed less than 90 minutes to subdue St. John’s (Shrewsbury), 2-0, Tuesday afternoon. Snyder threw a mere 69 pitches (50 for strikes) and retired the final seven hitters to close out the gem.
