Danvers' Persson Perfect Fit With Penn State Soccer
The 19-year-old Danvers native, now a sophomore at Penn State, had a solid freshman year with the Nittany Lions and got to play for the national championship.
Danvers High grad and soccer sensation Corey Persson has adjusted very well to bringing her game up to the Division I college level.
The Boston Globe recently caught up with the 2012 Danvers grad and now sophomore at Penn. State University. As a freshman for the Nittany Lions, Persson got to play in her first national championship game against North Carolina.
