Jacoby, Meet Jacoby

Nine-year-old Danvers little leaguer who has rare epileptic disorder meets his favorite member of the Red Sox, center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury, at Fenway Park.

It was a meeting of two Jacobys who share the same love of the game Sunday at Fenway Park.

Nine-year-old Jacoby Catanzaro of Gloucester, who plays ball in Danvers National Little League, got to meet his favorite baseball player, Boston Red Sox center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury, Sunday during the Red Sox's final home game of the regular season.

Catanzaro has a rare epileptic disorder called West Syndrome and has spent much of his life so far in the hospital for various treatments, but it's also where he became a Red Sox fan, watching the games.

He started playing baseball himself two years ago in the Danvers Challenger League and just moved up to the regular league this past year.

New England Sports Network arranged the visit and tour of Fenway Sunday for Jacoby and his parents. You can watch NESN's coverage of the visit here.
