Freeze Your Onions Off On New Year's Day
The first annual Freeze Your Onions Off will benefit the People-to-People Food Pantry.
Looking for a fun way to ring in the new year? How about freezing your 'onions' off for a good cause?
Hosted by the OnionTown Harriers running group, the first annual is set for New Year's Day at 12:30 p.m. All proceeds from the event will be benefitting the .
The suggested donation is $10, however "anything further you can donate would be gladly accepted," said organizer Gary Jones.

If swimming on the first of January at doesn't sound appealing to you, simply bringing a canned good and cheering on the swimmers will be appreciated.
