Volunteers Place Flags at Veterans’ Graves

Neither rain nor fog could dampen the spirits of the volunteers who donated their time Wednesday night to place flags next to the graves of veterans buried at Walnut Grove Cemetery and St. Mary's Cemetery.

The fog created a perfect atmosphere for the work at hand Wednesday night, as a large group of at the graves of veterans buried in  and .

The marking of the graves was in preparation for Memorial Day observances on May 30.
