Selecting Wines for the Holidays, Clothing Benefit Sale and More This Week

Here's what you need to know to get your week started in Danvers.

Today is Monday, Nov. 18. Here's a look at the week ahead in Danvers.

  1. Plumfield Academy is holding an open house Monday for grades 1-8, starting at 10 a.m.
  2. The School Committee meets for its regular monthly meeting Monday (7 p.m.) in the Francis Mills Communication Room at Danvers High School.
  3. The Zoning Board of Appeals also meets Monday night (7 p.m.) at Town Hall. You can find the agenda here.
  4. The Board of Selectmen meet Tuesday (7 p.m.) at Town Hall for a regular meeting, which also includes the annual tax classification hearing. You can find the regular agenda here.
  5. Lisa Shorr will talk how to market your personal brand at the North Shore Technology Council breakfast Wednesday at the Danversport Yacht Club.
  6. Donna Martin of Mill River Wines will be talking about selecting wines for the holidays with the North Shore Business Forum Friday morning at the Danversport Yacht Club.
  7. Danvers Church of the Nazarene is holding a clothing benefit sale Saturday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. There will be gently used children and adult clothing, shoes and boots for sale for $5 or less. All proceeds will be used to create Christmas baskets for those in need in the community.
