Here's what you need to know to get your week started in Danvers.
Today is Monday, Oct. 14. Here's a look at the week ahead in Danvers.
- Prior to the Board of Selectmen's meeting on Tuesday (7 p.m.), the Pillsbury Foundation will present several grant awards to the town. That event is also in the Toomey Room at Town Hall (6:30 p.m.).
- Other town board meetings this week: The Danvers Housing Authority meets Tuesday (4:30 p.m.) the policy subcommittee of the School Committee meets Wednesday (9:30 a.m.), the Rail Trail Advisory Committee meets Thursday (6 p.m.) and the Recreation Committee also meets Thursday (7:30 p.m.). - Danvers High football is scheduled to host the Salem Witches Friday (7 p.m.). The Falcons are on a roll after defeating Lynn Classical last week, 29-26, to give them a 4-1 record.
- Saturday is the third annual Lynda J. Talbot Memorial Walk/Run at the Danvers YMCA. Have you signed up yet?
- St. John's Prep is also hosting its fall admission open house on Saturday.
