Below you will find the when and where for some of our weekend event picks, including a local storyteller unveiling his latest art and a coyote expert sharing the story of how the eastern coyote has returned to the area. 1. STORYTELLER TONY TOLDEO'S ART CUPS RECEPTION
Where/When: Atomic Cafe, Beverly; Sunday, 1:01 p.m.-2:29 p.m.
Why Go: Storyteller Tony Toledo is arguably one of Beverly's most recognizable figures. And he's also an artist. On Sunday, he'll be unveiling his latest creation - 133 "art cups. In keeping with his unique personality, the reception is scheduled to run from 1:01-2:29 p.m.
Pricing: Free
2. COYOTE EXPERT CHRISTINE SCHADLER
Where/When: Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary, Topsfield; Saturday, 10-11 a.m.
Why Go: Christine Schadler is from Project Coyote, a national group promoting coexistence with coyotes, and she will talk about the thousands of wolves that live in New England and provide "answers to any questions or concerns you may have from an expert." MassAudubon recommends participants pack a lunch and enjoy the sanctuary.
Pricing: $8 for MassAudubon members, $10 for non-members
3. 'ONCE UPON A WINTER TIME'
Where/When: Peabody Institute Library of Danvers, 15 Sylvan St., Danvers; Saturday, 10:30 a.m.
Why Go: Master storyteller Diane Edgecomb will attempt to warm your hearts and imaginations with a wintertime performance of tales from long ago. The stories are drawn from different cultures, including the lyrical Grimm's tale of “Snow White and Rose Red” to tales of folksy New England escapades. There will be crafts and refreshments after the performance. To sign up, call 978-774-0554 or visit the Children’s Room at the library.

4. CARLA MARERRO READS 'MIMSIE'S MOUSE'
Where/When: Peabody Institute Library, 82 Main St., Peabody; Saturday, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Why Go: Children's author and illustrator Carla Marerro will be visiting the Children's Room at the Main Branch Library for a reading of her book "Mimsie's Mouse," which is a story about a cat geared toward children ages 2-8. Afterward, Marerro will lead a story-themed craft. Books will be available as well.

5. GROOM-A-THON
Where/When: Essex Aggie, Danvers; Saturday, 8 a.m.
Why Go: Students at Essex Agricultural and Technical High School will provide dog grooming as a fundraiser for the Class of 2014. The grooming will happen in the new grooming lab that is part of the new school on Route 62 near the Middleton town line. Walk-ins are welcome or you can make an appointment beforehand by e-mailing cgrima@agtech.org or kmckay@agtech.org or calling 978-774-0050 ext 263
Pricing: Ranges from $5 for just nails to $45 for a wash and dry for a very large dog.
