When Are the Danvers Fireworks?
The annual display is one of the largest in the area.
One of the summertime North Shore highlights is upon us with Danvers Family Festival.
One of the high points is the annual Independence Day fireworks, which will be held on Thursday, July 3 at Plains Park -- Holten Richmond Middl School.
The event kicks off at 5 p.m. where there will be performances, including teh winner of this year's Danvers Idol competition. There will be dancing, music, fun, food, games and rides for children.
At least a dozen Boston area food vendors will be on hand for the second annual Food Truck Festival.
At 8:30 p.m., Danvers will honor the men and women of the military with a patriotic program. At 9:15 pm., the 50/50 raffle winner will be announced.
Then to cap it all off, the fireworks display kicks off at 9:30 p.m.
Bring your chairs and blankets to enjoy a night out and watch one of the biggest fireworks displays around.
