WEPS Photo Hosts Certified Professional Photographer Exam

Local hosting for national Certified Professional Photographer exam

Photographers seeking an objective, professional acknowledgement of their knowledge and skills seek certification through the Professional Photographic Certification Commission. The two-tiered certification process begins with a comprehensive written exam which evaluates knowledge of light, photographic equipment and techniques, image post-processing and more. Photographers then submit a portfolio for review, presenting mandatory assignments that evaluate lighting and composition skills.

The Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) exam will be hosted at WEPS Photo on Locust Street on March 2. Registration for the exam is done through www.certifiedphotographer.com and must be completed by Feb. 23.
