Seniors are welcome to visit the Danvers Senior Center for everything from a bite to eat to a game of bridge, a yoga class, painting with water colors, knitting or even grieving the loss of a loved. Helpful information for senior safety is available and there is also a breakfast club that meets each week. The facility was built in 1999 and is managed by the Council on Aging. The center was nationally accredited in 2001 and then re-accredited in 2007. The center is surrounded by Highland Manor (a housing authority development), Highlands Elementary School and town soccer fields. Visit the Web site for a complete list of daily classes and other upcoming events. E-mail Lorene Machado if you'd like to receive the monthly COA newsletter - "Oniontown Seniors"  - in your inbox.
