St. Mary of the Annunciation School
978-774-0307
This parochial school, first opened in 1958 by the St. Mary of the Annunciation parish with the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, delivers a Catholic education to students from preschool up to eighth grade. St. Mary's annually enrolls about 400 students from Danvers and 26 other communities. Full-day and half-day kindergarten is offered and an extended day option is available for four-year-olds in the preschool program; there is also an early bird program. Students can receive individual or small group assistance in all core academic areas at the learning center. The Notre Dame Center next door is used by the religious education office at St. Richard's. There is a playground behind the building and across the way is Great Oak Elementary School, a playground and four baseball fields.
