Flag as Inappropriate

St. Richard's, one of two Catholic parishes in town, was established in February 1963 by order of Cardinal Richard Cushing. While the new church was under construction, the members of St. Richard's gathered in the auditorium of St. Mary of the Annunciation Church.

Today, Rev. Bruce G. Flannagan is pastor of the parish, which engages in numerous ministries both within the church, such as the children's choir, and in the community, providing financial support, food, clothing and school supplies to those in need. The religious education and other parish offices are located at the Notre Dame Center on Otis Street. For more information on marriage ceremonies or funerals, contact the parish office.
