Danvers Pizza Shop to be 'Flipped' on National TV Show

"Flipping Boston" will feature a Danvers pizza shop owned by one of the stars of the show in an upcoming show.

Peter Souhleris is known as one of the co-stars of the A&E show “Flipping Boston” that has been set on the North Shore for the past two years. But he’s also a pizza shop owner and next weekend that shop – Pete’s-a-Place in Danvers – will be featured in an hour-long show The Pine Street restaurant underwent renovations over a weeklong period last fall and the show will deviate slightly from its traditional house-flipping theme to focus on Souhleris’ pizza shop. “It was fun yet stressful because I don’t flip restaurants,” he said while seated in the restaurant this week. The idea started at the suggestion of Souhleris’ partner in the pizza shop, Anesio DePaula who suggested it needed a fresh look. “You need to give this place some love,” …

Concerning your pizza place flip: The end of the show left me smelling a rat in Boston. Why did the health inspector wait until just minutes before you were reopen to shut you down? It seems to me that they could have notified you long before you were finished about the health permit. Just curious.   more ›
