Liberty Tree Mall will open at 12:30 a.m. this year on Black Friday - the day after Thanksgiving known for its early morning shopping deals to kick off the holiday shopping season. The opening time will be the earliest ever for the mall, which is owned by Simon Property Group. It is part of a decision by Simon to open all of its malls in eastern Massachusetts at 12:30 a.m., including nearby North Shore Mall in Peabody. It also includes the Square One Mall in Saugus and the Burlington Mall, Simon said in an announcement issued on Tuesday.
