A worker at Daily Harvest Cafe stepped up when she thought she was getting scammed by a customer, chasing him down while allegedly getting assaulted.
When a customer at Daily Harvest Cafe kept switching out bills, one employee knew something wasn't right. The customers was allegedly trying to pull a "fast one" where he would get the employee to take bigger bills out of register. Eventually, George Lott, 68, of 39 Boylston St. in Boston was arrested and charged with larceny from a person, assault and battery, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. It all started at about 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday when the unnamed employee confronted Lott about his attempted scam. Lott kept changing bills and took back money that was not his, police said. The latest casting notice for a Larry David film is for two children, one 9-12 years old and the other 13-15 years old. The movie films Sept. 24.
The casting company for Grown Ups 2, Sande Alessi, is casting positions for a movie by Larry David that will shoot on the North Shore in September and October. Some of the crew is already in the area. Daily Harvest Cafe said on its Facebook page in recent days that some crew members got lunch there. Grown Ups 2 shot scenes all over the North Shore, including in Danvers at the Riverside Elementary School late this summer. Daily Harvest Cafe owner Brittany Raesley announced this week via Facebook her plans to open a second cafe.
Daily Harvest Cafe fans expressed their excitement on Facebook after the announcement made on the Daily Harvest Facebook Page this week put an end to speculation, and confirmed what insiders had been whispering about for some time: Daily Harvest Cafe is opening a second branch at Cherry Hill Office Park. The new cafe will have a larger dining room, an area for comfy seating and outdoor seating, according to Beth Desmond, who has worked closely with owner Brittany Raesly since the original cafe opened in 2007.
